I had so much fun illustrating my home town, Los Gatos, CA. I was asked to create a series of illustrations that would be printed on vinyl and wrapped on various utility boxes around town. This box is in a busy shopping section, so I wanted to depict the energy and bustle of bicyclists, joggers, families and shoppers.
Here is a close up of one of the people in the digital mural. It's actually my brother-in-law and his Irish Wolfhound, Oscar.
Another close up - this time ME and my dog Barley... how could I not!?!
Another box in town is next to the park where they hold a wonderful Farmer's Market each Saturday. I had to accommodate for a few windows on this box, so there is a 'blank' area below the town name as well as the space below between "eat fresh" and "shop local." So much fun.
This is the mural on a different side ot the box, a close up of locally grown produce and organic seeds for sale.
